Vacuum Systems

Vacuum systems are used for many industrial applications around the world; they are typically used to remove liquids, solids and/or sludge from land or water.

Vacuum Systems


Vacuum systems utilize an engine to energize a blower creating a large movement of air; this creates a vacuum that draws liquids and solids through a system of connected hoses. Vacuum systems must have appropriate power, in many instances capable of picking up heavy production residue, returning such material to the production process. Vacuum systems are also used extensively for positioning and inducing small movements inassembly line operations. Vacuum Systems Engineered Solution Vacuum Systems Vacuum Systems Booster/Piston vacuum systems combine a rugged, oil-sealed Kinney vacuum pump with a vacuum booster to supercharge the pump, allowing for deeper vacuum or greater throughput. In some cases small air and electric powered drum- style units will suffice, while others require large electric and diesel powered units for multiple users and filtration systems capable of capturing particles that are invisible to the naked eye. Vacuum pumps are combined with chambers and operational procedures into a wide variety of vacuum systems. High vacuum systems generally require metal chambers with metal O-ring seals such as Klein flanges or ISO flanges. Ultra-high vacuum systems are usually made of stainless steel with metal-gasketed conflat flanges.

Vacuums System


At atmospheric pressure and mild vacuums, molecules interact with each other and push on their neighboring molecules in what is known as viscous flow. As a result, many materials that work well in low vacuums, such as epoxy, will become a problematic source of outgassing when attempting to achieve high vacuums. With these standard precautions, vacuums of 1 mPa are easily achieved with off-the-shelf molecular pumps. Some oils and greases will boil off in extreme vacuums. With respect to the method of recovering metals from a fluid slurry in adental vacuum system, the method comprises the steps of: (a) Flowing afluid slurry under the suction of the vacuum source from the operatoriestoward the vacuum source in a generally linear first flow path along atleast a part of the distance between the operatories and the vacuumsource.
